The first was that the Discipline names were not updating on the roll template though the target numbers were correct for the actual ones selected on the character sheet. We noticed that when making Task rolls, there were a number of errors cropping up. My players and myself were using the Chrome and Firefox browsers to play. No idea if anyone else has encountered these.

Hi, I've just run a game using the official character sheets and had a couple of issues. (edited) Please post any bug reports for this sheet to this thread. You will want to add scale into the weapon damage input. Scale is not added into the roll formula in the case of ship energy weapons. Personnel & Ship Weapons will automatically add Security to the number you enter into the input. The headers for Determination, Momentum, and Breaches will also reset their selective bubbles. To reset them so none are filled in click the word in the relative header such as "Stress". You can fill them in as needed by clicking on the bubbles. Stress & Shields bubbles are auto calculated when Fitness & Security or Structure & Security are changed. This indicates blanks were rolled on each dice. It is possible to roll and the template to return no results displayed. The italic print under the dice will indicate how many d6s were rolled as challenge dice. The roll template will display a 1 for a single hit, 2 for two hits, nothing in the case of a 3 or 4, and a chevron for a 5 & 6. This is currently supports up to 40 dice. For Challenge dice you can input the number of dice you wish to roll. Set any additional conditions such as Focus Used, Complication Range, and the number of d20s you wish to roll, then click the button next to Task Roll. We saw growth from Tormenta, the popular and acclaimed Portugeuse RPG celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Das Schwarze Auge, (The Dark Eye) a German language fantasy RPG, and Chroniques Oubliées, a French language fantasy RPG.Here are some quick How-To's for our new official sheet: To roll a task, click on the Attribute and Discipline you will be using. Players from around the world showed up in a myriad of ways – playing on the site, streaming tutorials and actual plays, and bringing a greater diversity to the systems and types of games being played. Roll20 was truly an international home for gaming this quarter.

The ENnie Product of the Year, MORK BORG, makes the list but only just with 0.01% of games and players using the game, however, the Year Zero Engine, which powers the Alien RPG, winner of Game of the Year, does better at 0.17% (up 105% from the quarter before). Cyberpunk Red, which is only out as a quickstart ruleset, is up 148%, while Tormenta, a Brazilian fantasy RPG is up 129% and City of Mist, the superhero noir game, up 117%. The top growing games for this quarter are mixed. Those figures are up from the already impressive 2020 Q1 stats in which 50% of all campaigns used D&D and 56% of all players.įor the last The Orr Report there was some suggestion that old school style games were doing well, even though Blades in the Dark, Star Trek Adventures and Tales from the Loop which don’t tend to evoke such nostalgia were among the top 10 growing systems. It will come as little surprise, but playing tabletop RPGs online using the virtual tabletop Roll20 has never been more popular.ĭ&D 5E is the unchallenged champion with 53% of all campaigns in Roll20 using the system and 58% of all players using it.
